Did Lexi Thompson break into the top 50 rankings after solid Meijer LPGA Classic run?

Lexi Thompson has surged into the rankings following her impressive run at the Meijer LPGA Classic. As per the latest update, she is back inside the top 50 of the Rolex Women's Golf Rankings.

On Sunday, June 15, Thompson carded a 2-under 70 to tie for fourth at the Meijer LPGA Classic 2025. Following the final round, she finished at 13-under and fell three strokes behind winner Carlota Ciganda.

As per the latest weekly update of the Rolex Women's Golf Rankings, Lexi Thompson has made an eight-spot jump and is now 50th in the world. Notably, she has been out of the top 50 for most of the 2025 season. She broke into the top 50 momentarily after a T14 finish at the Chevron Championship but was out after missing the cut at the U.S. Women’s Open.

Speaking of the season, the semi-retired LPGA star has missed two cuts in six starts and posted three top-15 finishes. The T4 finish on Sunday was her best result so far this year.
