Ex-LIV Golf star Chase Koepka set to make Asian Tour return

Ex-LIV golfer Chase Koepka is set to make a return to professional golf on the Asian Tour. The American golfer is scheduled to compete at the Philippine Open. He last competed in the Saudi league, playing on his brother Brooks Koepka's Smash GC team. He played on the circuit for two seasons but finished 48th in the season standings at the end of 2023.

Chase was slated to compete in the LIV Golf Promotions event in 2023 with hopes of rejoining the Saudi league, but he withdrew from the competition and ultimately missed the 2024 LIV Golf roster. Since then, he has not been playing professionally but is finally making a comeback in 2025 on the Asian Tour.

In 2023, Chase's brother Brooks Koepka reflected on his career plans and opened up about the option of him playing on the Asian Tour. Speaking of Chase, Brooks said, Golf Monthly:

"Obviously he's got that option where he can go play the Asian Tour and try to work his way back. That's up to him. I don't know, We haven't had that talk of just trying to figure out what exactly the next step for him is, right. He's got to be confident whatever decision he makes.

"I can't knock him. He's tried. I mean, I've spent hours working with him. We've gone out and practiced a bunch. He hasn't given up. He's tried the whole way through, and I'll never knock anybody as long as you're going to give maximum effort," he added.

Chase Koepka had decent outings on the LIV Golf during his time playing on the series.

Chase Koepka made his debut on the LIV Golf in 2022. That year, he played in eight tournaments on the circuit and had one finish in the top 10. He settled in ninth place at the Chicago event and finished 27th in the standings.

In 2023, Chase started his campaign at the Mayakoba event with a 49th finish. He played in 13 events in the second season of the LIV Golf and had one finish in the top 25.
