Frustrated Shane Lowry snaps his club after a disastrous performance in the opening round of The Players Championship 

Shane Lowry struggled with his performance during the opening round of the Players Championship. The frustrated golfer took a risky shot at the 15th hole of the tournament and failed to escape from the tree.

Lowry took a shot and tried his best to escape from the tree but ended up making a double bogey with four other bogeys in the first round. After the conclusion of the first round, he ended up at 77 to finish in the 127th position.

Frustrated with his performance on the 15th hole, the golfer whacked his club off a tree, breaking it over his knees. He went ahead and tossed the parts in the air.

Shane Lowry started the tournament with a bogey on the first hole. However, he was soon compensated for that with a birdie on the second hole.

He again made a bogey on the sixth hole, another bogey on the eighth hole and his fourth bogey of the day on the tenth hole. The match turned worse after he made a double bogey on the sixth hole. Lowry ended up at 77 to finish with a score of five.
