Following the PGA Tour's Creator Classic, podcasts Good Good Golf and Fore Play have announced a similar event. The event, named the Battle for Palm Beach, will take place from November 3 to 5 at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.The event will be played in a 36-hole, two-man scramble format. The registration fee is $2,750 per person ($5,500 per team) and includes a three-night stay at the PGA National Resort.Tee times will start on November 3 at 10 a.m. ET on the Staple Course. The next round will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start on the Fazio Course. The final round will be played on the Champion Course, also with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. ET.Teams will be provided with breakfast, lunch, and drink tickets. Further, each participant will receive a welcome gift valued at $1,100. The PGA Tour's inaugural Creator Classic was played on Wednesday, August 28, at East Lake Golf Club. The event featured a 16-player field, including the likes of Paige Spiranac, Wesley Bryan, Luke Kwon, Fat Perez, and Sean Walsh.After eight holes, Wesley Bryan was at 2-under and held a one-shot lead over the field. However, the top four players advanced to a playoff on the ninth hole, where past scores no longer mattered. In the extra hole, Kwon made a birdie to beat Bryan, Sean Walsh, and Roger Steele.
