“Guy knows how to play in majors” – Justin Thomas lauds Brooks Koepka for his PGA Championship 2023 victory

Justin Thomas congratulated Brooks Koepka on his 2023 PGA Championship. He posted on Twitter, admitting that Koepka dominated the Sunday and he knew how to play in majors.

He tweeted:

"Brooks dominated this day. Guy knows how to play in majors, incredibly impressive! Congrats to @BKoepka and his team on another 🏆"

The 2022 PGA Championship winner had a forgettable week as he finished at T57 aggregating at 12-over at Oak Hill. This season has been disappointing for Thomas as he has placed only two top 10 finishes in nine starts and also failed to make a cut in the Masters Tournament.

Since 2014, Thomas has won at least one title each year, however if his poor run continues, the streak might break this time.

Brooks Koepka wins the 2023 PGA Championship

Koepka carded 67 to claim his fifth major championship and his first in four years. This was also the first major win by LIV associated golfer. He and Phil Mickelson had finished runner-up in the Masters last month.

Scottie Scheffler and Viktor Hovland finished runner-up, two strokes behind Koepka. Bryson DeChambeau ended at tied fourth with Cameron Davis and Kurt Kitayama.
