Carlota Ciganda won €105,000 at the 2024 Andalucia Costa del Sol Open de Espana. She won the last tournament of the 2024 Ladies European Tour by a stroke over Belgium's Manon De Roey. The tournament concluded on Sunday, December 1 at the Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf in Málaga, Spain.

It was Carlota Ciganda's eighth win on the Ladies European Tour and the golfer finished 28th in the Order of Merit standings.

Ciganda scored 67, 66, 66 and 71 in the tournament to finish 18-under par. Talking about her win, she said (via Sky Sports):

"I'm very happy to win here in Spain in front of so many people and my family, it's always great to play here. I love Spain and it's always very special. It wasn't easy, sometimes when you have a four-shot lead it's not easy."

Ciganda started with two bogeys on the 1st and 3rd hole but was able to bounce back with two birdies on the front nine. Talking about her performance, the Spaniard said:

"I haven't been up there in a while, so I had some adrenaline going on and started with a couple of bogeys and Manon played really good on the front nine, so we were pretty tight those first few holes."

Carlota Ciganda had won this tournament in 2021 by four strokes over Maja Stark.
