The HSBC Women’s World Championship concluded on Sunday with former World No. 1 Jin Young Ko lifting the title. Having spent most of 2022 on the sidelines due to a wrist injury, the LPGA golfer made a solid return to win this week’s event and extend her title-winning season record to six.

The 27-year-old with 14 career LPGA titles, including two majors, edged past Nelly Korda to win the HSBC Women’s World Championship. The golfer bagged the $270,000 winner’s check with the move. Ko also extended her career earnings to $10,680,535, passing Yani Tseng and Ariya Jutanugarn to become 22nd on the LPGA career money list.

While Young Ko took the winner’s check, runner-up Korda settled for $169,299. Danielle Kang, Allisen Corpuz, and Ayaka Furue finished T3 and won $98,097 each. Meanwhile, Jessica Korda, returning for her first event since a back injury, finished last on the HSBC Women’s World Championship leaderboard. She returned home earning $4,078.
