The 2023 LIV Golf League’s second-ever event, LIV Golf Tucson, came to an end on Sunday with Danny Lee lifting the trophy. Lee, who made his second LIV Golf League start at the event, beat the likes of Louis Oosthuizen, Brendan Steele, and Carlos Ortiz in a three-hole, four-man playoff to take the win.

The win on Sunday was Lee’s first since 2015 on the PGA Tour. He bagged a whopping top prize of $4,000,000 for the win at the Gallery Golf Club in Marana, Arizona. This was the 32-year-old golfer’s biggest paycheck yet, almost a quarter of his $15.9 million career earnings on the PGA Tour. While Lee bagged the top share on the prize purse, runners-up Oosthuizen, Steele, and Ortiz settled for $1,558,333 each.

Charles Howell III, who won the LIV Golf League’s inaugural event in Mayakoba last week, finished fifth. He won $975,000 for his efforts. Sergio Garcia, Kevin Na, Matt Jones, and Mito Pereira shared T6 and bagged $670,000 each. Peter Uihlein finished T10 with Branden Grace and Matthew Wolff, and returned home with $516,667.

Dustin Johnson bagged $270,400 for finishing T13, while Brooks Koepka and Cameron Smith settled for $163,000 each after finishing T24. Meanwhile, Sihwan Kim finished last on the leaderboard and took the $120,000 paycheck.
