The 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational will tee off on Thursday, March 2 at the Bay Hill Club and Lodge in Orlando. Set as the 18th event on the 2023-2023 PGA Tour schedule, the event is also the fourth ‘designated’ one in the past two months.

Like other ‘designated’ events on the PGA Tour, the Arnold Palmer Invitational has a prize purse of $20 million. This will be a significant jump from last week’s Honda Classic which had a set purse of $8.4 million. According to the American circuit’s prize money distribution chart’s 18 percent payout, the winner of the Orlando event will win a paycheck of $3,600,000.

Featuring a stacked 120-player field, the 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational will see golfers play the four-day event with a 36-hole cut. Much like other PGA Tour events, the event will pay the top 65 players and ties. While the champion wins $3.6 million, the event’s runner-up will bag an attractive $2.18 million. It is pertinent to note that this is more than last week’s Classic winner’s prize.

According to the PGA Tour, the golfer finishing third on the Arnold Palmer Invitational will win $1.38 million. The golfer finishing fourth will settle for $980,000. Golfers coming fifth and sixth will return home with $820,000 and $725,000 respectively. Meanwhile, the golfer finishing 65th on the field will win $43,000 for his efforts.
