The 2023 Honda LPGA Thailand is currently underway at the Siam Country Club's Pattaya Old Course in Thailand. Being played in its originally intended slot on the LPGA Tour schedule, the tournament has 72 golfers competing against each other for the $1.7 million prize purse.

Being the second event of the 2023 season, the Honda LPGA Thailand field is stacked with star names. Headlined by the likes of Lydia Ko, Nelly Korda, Minjee Lee, Jennifer Kupcho, and Brooke Henderson, among others, the Thai event has a total of 37 of the top 50 in the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings on its field.

According to the American tour’s prize money distribution chart, the winner of the event will earn a paycheck of $255,000. This is 15 percent of the total $1.7 million prize purse.

The event will see the top 65 players and ties after the 36 holes receive prize money as well. While the runner-up of the event will bag $157,385, the third-placed golfer will settle for $114,172.

Apart from the prize money, the Honda LPGA Thailand winner will also earn 500 points in the season-long race to the CME Globe. The golfer will add points to the table that will provide a $2 million first-place prize for the winner of the CME Group Tour Championship.

This week's champion will also earn a two-year exemption on the LPGA Tour, as well as berths into other big tournaments.
