How did Scottie Scheffler perform in the 2025 US Open, Round 4?

Scottie Scheffler toiled hard in the final round of the U.S. Open 2025 but eventually fell short. He carded an even-par 70 on day four to tie for eighth and finish five strokes back.

On Sunday, June 15, Scheffler entered Oakmont Country Club seven strokes behind. However, the start of the day didn’t go as planned, as he double-bogeyed the third hole. What made it worse was that he missed a 9-footer and eventually three-putted it.

Scottie Scheffler made some recovery with two birdies and no more bogeys over the next seven holes. However, on the par-4 11th, he again took three putts from within 11 feet to make a bogey. He added two more birdies over the next six holes but bogeyed the final one to shoot an even-par 70.

Scheffler finished five strokes behind J.J. Spaun, who fired a 2-over 72 to claim the U.S. Open 2025 title. Spaun posted a two-shot win over Robert MacIntyre for his biggest-ever title.
