After round three of the Farmers Insurance Open, Amanda Balionis interviewed Joel Dahmen and made him reveal an interesting story and experience with a Navy Seal. Balionis is back as an announcer on CBS for the PGA Tour. She returned to the Tour this week at the Farmers Insurance Open.Dahmen revealed that he was introduced to a Navy Seal in San Diego last fall, and he has helped him sharpen his mental toughness. Shortly after, Balionis had met the American golfer. In their latest interview, she asked him if he remembered what he said to her at the time."You and I saw each other right here in San Diego in October and I ran into you, and I said, 'What are you doing here?' He works with Navy Seal out here for his other clients, and he thought it was a good idea for me to maybe toughen me up in a mental way a little bit."When you think of Navy SEAL stuff, you think of crazy physical stuff. But honestly, it's s more mental than anything. So, we did some water training, not Michael Phelps in the pool, that's for sure. So, I did, I got, I got better at life," Dahmen revealed.Going into the final round, Joel Dahmen is currently in contention to win the 2025 Farmers Insurance Open.
