Dan Rapoport reacted to the Wyndham Clark outburst at the Major in his live stream on YouTube. In "Dan of Golf," the golf analyst talked about the US Open and also reflected on Clark's behavior. He said (57:33):

"If he did it—allegedly—is really, really bad. Like, really, really bad. And this game tortures you, especially at U.S. Opens, you know. For one week, Tyrrell Hatton was saying, "Everyone knows what it feels like to be in my head at all times."

"But look, it's one thing to cuss yourself, it's another to toss your club, it's another to throw your club into your main sponsor's ad—it's another level, uh, entirely to take your frustration out on the Oakmont lockers. So again, I don't know if I can't—I don't know for sure, but I'm waiting for either a denial or an apology, because that's the only way that this is going."

Last week's US Open was a particularly challenging event for the players. Some of the big names struggled to even make the cut at the third Major of the season. Bryson DeChambeau returned home after two rounds along with some other big names, including Ludvig Aberg, Patrick Cantlay, Cameron Smith, Phil Mickelson, Tommy Fleetwood, and Dustin Johnson, among others.

J.J. Spaun won his maiden Major title at the 2025 US Open by registering a two-stroke win in the game. He played the four rounds of 66, 72, 69, and 72 to settle with a total of 1-under.
