Rory McIlroy and other golfers got into the festive spirit as the World No. 3 dressed up as Mario from the Mario video game franchise for Halloween, alongside his friend Shane Lowry who was seemingly dressed as NFL player Travis Kelce.

In a carousel of photos shared by Lowry on Instagram, McIlroy was seen wearing a red hat with an "M" logo, a red long-sleeve shirt, blue overalls, white gloves, and a mustache. Meanwhile, Lowry dressed up Travis Kelce, wearing a Kansas City Chiefs #87 jersey, football gloves, red socks, and white football pants.

English golfer Luke Donald, who wore a Chicago Cubs baseball uniform and a blue Cubs cap, stood alongside McIlroy and Lowry.

Shane Lowry also included a picture with his wife Wendy and their two daughters Iris and Ivy, captioning the post:

Irish, the elder daughter, was seemingly dressed as American pop star Taylor Swift. She wore a sparkly purple dress with shiny pink cowboy boots, while Lowry's wife Wendy dressed as a cowgirl with a cowboy hat.

Ivy, Lowry's younger daughter, was dressed as The Cat in the Hat. Donning a black and white cat costume, a red bow tie, and a hat, Ivy also held a green dinosaur accessory.

Both Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry have had a great golf 2024 season. The duo won the Zurich Classic of New Orleans together. They defeated Chad Ramey and Martin Trainer in playoffs by a par on the first extra playoff hole.

Other than that, McIlroy has had seven top-10 finishes and 15 top-25 finishes in 19 starts on the PGA Tour while Lowry has had seven top-10 and 11 top-25 finishes in 20 starts. Both of them finished ninth on the FedExCup standings this year.

Golfers share their Halloween looks ft. Nelly Korda

Many other golfers, including Brooks Koepka and his wife Jena Sims, took to Instagram to show their family's Halloween costumes, where the Koepka family was seemingly dressed as Men in Black agents.

In the pictures shared by Sims on her Instagram Story, Brooks Koepka can be seen in a black suit, white shirt, and sunglasses mimicking the iconic look from the movie. Koepka and Sims' son Crew is also dressed as a mini Men in Black agent.

"If you have spoken to my husband in the last 3 weeks, this costume is hilarious, otherwise we are just Men in Black."

Sims wore a maroon bodysuit, green insect-like goggles, and antennae headbands along with gloves that resembled alien-like fingers.

"Getting a Halloween costume family photo should be an Olympic sport," Jena Sims captioned the story.

The World No.1 golfer captioned her Instagram picture:

"Happy Halloween (pumpkin emoji)"

Jessica and her husband Johnny were dressed in bright green onesie costumes as Leonardo and Raphel while Greyson was dressed as Donatello with a purple eye mask and turtle shell suit. Nelly Korda was dressed as Master Splinter in a grey costume with a long white mustache.
