Amanda Balionis, the once-rumored partner of Rory McIlroy, just had a wedding weekend out with friends. The CBS reporter shared the photos to her Instagram so that her 321,000 followers could enjoy them. It looked to be a successful outing for the golf journalist, and 10 photos provided the evidence.
There were typical wedding photos, such as a photo of the bridal party and everyone involved with the wedding itself. Another was of Balionis in her wedding attire as well. Others showed off the scenery and location for the ceremony.
Fittingly, there were a few golf-related pictures. The final snapshot was of a golf swing in action, while there was also a group photo taken on a golf cart. It was Hally Leadbetter and Billy Candler's wedding.
Leadbetter is a podcaster and contributor for Golf Digest and CBS Sports. Balionis captioned her photo dump:
"Petition for @hallylead & @bcandler to get married every weekend. So grateful to witness this beautiful love between these two beautiful humans. No one throws a party like DJ Hally C!"
The photos were initially posted on Sunday, September 8. Balionis was rumored to be dating Rory McIlroy around the same time that the golfer announced his divorce from long-time wife Erica Stolls. That divorce has since been called off as the two sides seek to resolve their issues together.
That relationship was never confirmed or substantiated, as they maintained that they had a professional relationship according to the US Weekly. Those rumors have not really persisted past the summer as well.
Amanda Balionis shouts out "favorite" person on wedding weekend
Amanda Balionis has indicated that her wedding weekend for Hally Leadbetter was a massive success. Her photos and captions invoke positivity on her part, and part of the reason may be how she feels about the bride.
She shared a photo over the weekend to her story showcasing how she feels about Leadbetter. The photo on the golf cart, which made it into her eventual photo dump from the entire weekend, was captioned with this:
"Happy wedding weekend to one of my very favorite humans. Let's get some birdies then get you married."
The wedding took place at Beaver Creek Village in Colorado on a golf course. The golf reporter has been traveling a lot lately, even posting a cautionary photo detailing how tough the travel was. She said there was no better way to see new places than to get "kicked" by the world.
This was after going on a hiking trail that proved to be far more challenging than she had anticipated. The wedding on a golf course from this weekend is more to Amanda Balionis' liking.
