Embracing the Halloween spirit, Brooks Koepka and his wife Jena Sims joined in on the fun with a creative theme. The Koepka family dressed up as characters from the iconic Men in Black movie, starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones.
On October 31, Jena Sims shared a few photographs of the family’s Halloween costumes on Instagram. Brooks and his son Crew recreated the iconic duo of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, while Sims dressed up as Neeble, one of the four worm guys from the movie.
"Loosely based on recent events 🛸👽," she wrote.
Sims also shared a few more candid photographs on her Instagram stories.
"If you have spoken to my husband in the last 3 weeks, this costume is hilarious, otherwise we are just Men in Black," she wrote in one picture's caption.
In another photograph, she mentioned the difficulties of getting the photoshoot right with a young Crew.
"Getting a Halloween costume family photo should be an Olympic sport," she wrote.
Is Brooks Koepka competing at the Grant Thornton Invitational?
Brooks Koepka will not be part of the 2024 Grant Thornton Invitational, set to take place at Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, Florida, from December 13 to 15. The event will feature the likes of Lydia Ko, Jason Day, Nelly Korda, Tony Finau, Lexi Thompson, Rickie Fowler, Lilia Vu, Luke List, Rose Zhang, Sahith Theegala, Tom Kim, and several other top-ranked players on the PGA Tour and LPGA.
As for Koepka, he will be competing in The Showdown, an exhibition event featuring him and Bryson DeChambeau of LIV Golf versus Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler representing the PGA Tour. The event will take place on December 17 at Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas and will be televised live on TNT Sports.
Koepka had another strong season on LIV Golf, where he won two titles and became the winningest player on the Saudi-backed circuit. He made three additional top-10 finishes and placed fifth in the season standings. His team, Smash GC, also won two titles and achieved three other podium finishes this year.
However, in major championships, the 34-year-old golfer couldn't replicate last year's performance and failed to secure a top-20 finish.
