Is Rory McIlroy playing in the 2024 ZOZO Championship? Availability and schedule explored

Rory McIlroy is not playing at the 2024 ZOZO Championship, which is taking place at the Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club from October 23 to 27. McIlroy played in the event's inaugural edition in 2019 and finished in a T3 position, behind Tiger Woods and Hideki Matsuyama.

The 2020 ZOZO Championship was McIlroy’s last appearance in the PGA Tour event. That year, he settled for a T17 after carding 7-under.

Rory McIlroy's next venture will be two DP World Tour events this year. The first event will be the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, which will be held from November 7 to 10 at the Yas Links in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Following that, he'll play at the DP World Tour Championship, held from November 14 to 17 at the Jumeirah Golf Estates, Earth Course, Dubai, UAE.
