Scottie Scheffler is in Paris for the 2024 Olympics, his debut at the event. However, unlike most of the US athletes, he is not staying at the Olympic Village.

Scottie Scheffler is one of the four USA players in action at the 2024 Olympics. Although he is making his debut at the Olympics, he is the favorite to win the gold medal at Le Golf National.

A few days ago, English football legend John Terry posted a photo alongside Scheffler, which revealed that the World No. 1 golfer was staying at the resort in Les Bordes, which is 2 hours away from Paris.

Scheffler is in Paris with his wife Meredith and son Bennett. The trio recently visited the Louvre and the World No. 1 shared a couple of photographs on Instagram.

In addition to Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Wyndham Clark and Collin Morikawa are the other three players representing the USA at the Le Golf National. Schauffele is the defending gold medalist at the Olympics.

While Scheffler is the favorite to win after registering six titles this season, Schauffele has also picked up a form with two major championships in the past three starts.

The men's golf event will take place from Thursday, August 1 to Sunday, August 4. The 60 players will compete in the 72-hole strokeplay event. The women's event will be played next week from August 7 to August 10.
