Tiger Woods will continue his break this week as well, as he is not competing at the 2025 Travelers Championship. The ace golfer has opted out of the final Signature Event of the season.

The Travelers is set to tee off on Thursday, June 19, at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut. Woods, who has never played here, will continue his non-playing streak as he is still recuperating from the Achilles surgery he underwent earlier this year.

Ahead of the Masters Tournament 2025, Tiger Woods damaged his Achilles while ramping up his practice for the season. As a result, he was forced to undergo immediate surgery and pull out of Augusta National. Since then, he hasn't been able to play anywhere.

Notably, Tiger Woods competed in the first season of the TGL, but that was a less intense competition. Besides, his team failed to make any impact and did not qualify for the playoffs.

Speaking of the Travelers Championship, it will be a star-studded affair with most of the top names in action this week. Superstars like Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, and Xander Schauffele will compete in the final Signature Event.

Here’s a look at the field for the 2025 Travelers Championship:

How did Tiger Woods' son Charlie Woods perform at the Florida Amateur Championship?

The 49-year-old golfer was recently seen at the Florida Amateur Championship, where he was cheering up his son Charlie Woods. However, the junior Woods had a disappointing finish as he shot 82 in the final round to tie for 66th.

Charlie Woods finished 25 strokes behind winner Reed Greyserman, who claimed the title in a thrilling playoff. Notably, the 16-year-old had claimed his biggest win last month at the Team TaylorMade Invitational in Bowling Green, Florida.

Charlie came into the spotlight after playing alongside dad, Tiger Woods, at the PNC Championship. The duo has become a regular feature over the past few years and finished runner-up last year.
