Jenny Shin, Szeryk, and Jutanugarn share a three-way lead after two rounds of the 2023 LPGA Drive-On Championship

Jenny Shin closed the front nine with five straight birdies in her second round of 5-under-67 at the LPGA Drive On Championship on Friday. She aggregated at 12 under after two rounds of golf at Gold Canyon. Shin leads the event after 36 holes alongside Maddie Szeryk of Canada and Moriya Jutanugarn of Thailand.

Jutanugarn played two good rounds of golf with a score of 5-under 67 on Thursday followed by a bogey-free 7-under 65. Her Friday round included an eagle and five birdies. Szeryk holed an eagle, six birdies, and just one bogey on Day 2 of the LPGA's first full-field event of the year.

American Lilia Vu is in solo fourth place so far after she carded a 6 under 66 on Friday. South Korea's Na Rin An (5-under 67) and American Alison Lee (3-under 69) were at T-5 at 10-under. No. 3-ranked Jin Young Ko is at T-7 at 9-under.

The event is the first to be played under the new cut policy of the LPGA Tour. After 36 holes, the top 65 players will progress to the weekend as compared to the top 70 and ties earlier.
