Jon Rahm will play the US Open while in excellent form. Through the LIV Golf schedule, Rahm has played exceptionally well, well enough to remain third on the individual standings for the tour.

This has come, however, without a single win. Rahm is the reigning individual champion for LIV, but he won twice on tour and had numerous team victories last year. In 2025, he's yet to hold a trophy of his own.

His starts so far include a T2 finish in Riyadh, sixth at Adelaide, T6 in Hong Kong, T5 in Singapore, T9 in Miami, fourth place in Mexico, T7 in Korea, and T8 in Virginia.

Rahm has been the picture of consistency, but he will look to put it all together for a win at the US Open. He has won the 2021 US Open and the 2023 Masters, so he is in search of his third major.

Jon Rahm has been a force since joining LIV Golf

When players join LIV Golf, a common opinion of golf analysts and insiders is that their game will slip a little by not competing against the best of the best week in and week out. Jon Rahm appears to have avoided that fate.

Dating back to last year, when he made his debut, Rahm has never finished outside the top 10 at a LIV event. His worst finishes have been T10s at Singapore and Andalucia in 2024.

This does not include Majors, though. He did finish T8 at the PGA Championship, where he was briefly tied with Scottie Scheffler on the back nine in the final round before imploding and slipping down the leaderboard.

He was T14 at the Masters, so that's one start outside the top 10. In 2024, Rahm tied for seventh at the 2024 Open Championship, but he missed the cut at the PGA Championship, withdrew from the US Open, and tied for 45th at the Masters after barely making the cut as the defending champion.

He also played a number of DP World Tour events in an effort to qualify for the Ryder Cup this fall. He placed second (in a playoff) at the Spanish Open, tied for seventh at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, placed sixth at the Andalucia Masters, and missed the cut at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic in 2025.

Jon Rahm has not yet won a non-LIV Golf event since transitioning to the league at the beginning of 2024, but he's still been in top form despite not winning those events. This week, at the US Open, he is +1200 (CBS Sports) to win the event. That puts him behind only Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau, and Rory McIlroy.
