The PGA Tour has revealed the stacked field for the Arnold Palmer Invitational that is scheduled to start in less than a week (March 2). The PGA Tour is currently at the PGA National Members Club in Florida for the 2023 Honda Classic. Following this, the American circuit and its golfers will head to the Bay Hill Club and Lodge in Orlando for the Arnold Palmer Invitational.Having sat out from this week’s event to rest, most of the best players in the world are destined for Orlando. As per the PGA Tour, the 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational field will be headlined by the likes of defending champion and World No. 2 Scottie Scheffler, World No.1 Jon Rahm and No.3 Rory McIlroy. Moreover, the event will also feature 27 of the world's top 30 and 44 of the world's top 50 golfers.Compared to the ongoing Honda Classic, the Arnold Palmer Invitational will have a star-stacked field. The PGA Tour, which uses a standardized system for determining event fields based on the current season’s Priority Ranking and exemptions, has managed to pull an all-starrer with the upcoming event. It is also pertinent to note that the event has granted an additional year of eligibility in some categories because of the COVID-19 pandemic.PGA TOUR Communications@PGATOURCommsThe field for the Arnold Palmer Invitational includes:44 of the top 50 players in the Official World Golf Ranking (most of any event since the 2022 Open Championship)The top 30 players in the FedExCup standingsAll 13 players that have won on TOUR this season twitter.com/PGATOURComms/s…PGA TOUR Communications@PGATOURCommsFields for the two tournaments on the PGA TOUR next week:Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MastercardPuerto Rico Open12119Fields for the two tournaments on the PGA TOUR next week:Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MastercardPuerto Rico Open https://t.co/B0MfVGKDIlThe field for the Arnold Palmer Invitational includes:▪️44 of the top 50 players in the Official World Golf Ranking (most of any event since the 2022 Open Championship)▪️The top 30 players in the FedExCup standings▪️All 13 players that have won on TOUR this season twitter.com/PGATOURComms/s…Arnold Palmer Invitational fieldHere is the full field for the upcoming week's Arnold Palmer Invitational (as of February 25th):Former Winners of the Arnold Palmer InvitationalTyrrell HattonRory McIlroyFrancesco MolinariScottie SchefflerWinner of Masters Tournament (five-year exemption)Hideki MatsuyamaWinner of THE PLAYERS Championship (five-year exemption)Webb SimpsonJustin ThomasWinner of U.S. Open Championship (five-year exemption)Matt FitzpatrickJon RahmGary WoodlandWinner of The Open (five-year exemption)Shane LowryCollin MorikawaFedExCup Champion (five-year exemption)Patrick CantlayWinner of World Golf Championships event (three-year exemption)Billy HorschelWinner of Genesis Invitational (three-year exemption)Max HomaPGA TOUR tournament winner (two-year exemption)Keegan BradleyRyan BrehmSam BurnsTony FinauRussell HenleyMackenzie HughesSi Woo KimTom KimK.H.
