At the start of Horvat's video, the YouTuber claimed the golf course to be the 'hardest in the world'. The trio considered the 2016 U.S Open, when Dustin Johnson won the title at the same course, for their +6 cutline for the latest episode. Unfortunately, none of them managed to make the cutline.

Towards the end of the second video, two of them made winning predictions for the upcoming Major tournament. While George Bryan called for Rory McIlroy with an even-par score, Grant Horvat rooted for Scottie Scheffler with a one-under par score.

What is the par and cutline at Oakmont for the 2025 US Open?

The 125th U.S Open will tee off on June 12 at the Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania, where the Major has been played on nine occasions to date. The 18 holes are spread across 7372 yards of the golf course, with the par being 70.

The format for the Major will be the usual stroke-play and include a cutline. The top 60 players, including the ties, at the end of the second round, will progress to the weekend rounds of the tournament.

The U.S Open is the only Major to have top 60 as the cutline. While the 2025 Masters tournament had Top 50 as the cutline, the PGA Championship had Top 70 players advance to the weekend game. The next Major, the Open Championship, will also follow Top 70, including ties, as its cutline.

Oakmont last hosted the U.S Open in 2016, when only four players managed to shoot a total under-par score. Dustin Johnson sealed the victory with a four-under par score. Jim Furyk, Shane Lowry, and Scott Piercy became the joint runners-up with a one-under par score.
