The 2024 Women's Scottish Open will begin on Thursday, August 15, and will be played at the Dundonald Links Golf Course in Troon, Scotland, till Sunday, August 18. There are 142 golfers in the field for the competition before the fifth and final Major of the LPGA Tour.

The tournament's prize purse is $2 million, the same as last year, and the winner will take home $300,000. Celine Boutier is the defending champion having won the 2023 Women's Scottish Open. She will look to defend the title this time around.

Speaking on similar lines, Boutier recently stated (via LPGA):

"It's going to be an exciting week at Dundonald this year, especially returning as the defending champion. I have always loved playing this event and securing second place in 2022 before clinching the trophy last year was extremely memorable. With two titles to defend this summer, I'm eager to return to Scotland and tackle some challenging links golf."
