The 2023 Masters is set to start next week. With the first major golf tournament of the season nearing, organizers are announcing several things to involve more fans in the tournament.
The Masters have introduced 'Masters Fantasy', a fantasy game that can reward fans based on their skill and knowledge of the game.
How to participate?
Registration for Master's Fantasy is free. Users can register on the Championship's official website 'masters.com' by entering the asked information.
Only one registration per person is allowed. Anyone using several email ids to create multiple accounts will be disqualified.
How to play?
Fans will have to pick a roster of four golfers. Users will earn points based on their chosen golfers' performance at the Masters. They can create private groups too.
Users will be asked to pick one golfer from each of the given categories:
- Past Champions
- United States (Player born in the United States)
- International (Player born outside the United States)
- Wild Card (any golfer of the user's choice)
Users will also be asked to enter a tiebreaker answer after completion of roster selection. It should be noted that the user is not allowed to make any changes to the roster once it is set. However, if the golfer is eliminated (either by withdrawal, disqualification, or cut), then the user can make the change.
How to join or create a league?
Fans can either participate in a public league or can play with friends by creating a private league.
To create a private league, the user will have to select the ‘Start Your Own’ league option on the main page, which will initiate the process of starting a private league. After creation, you can invite friends through URL, Facebook, or Twitter. Private leagues will not give any prizes.

Hole by Hole Scoring
- Double Eagle- 8 points
- Eagle- 5 points
- Birdie- 2 points
- Par- 1 point
- Bogey- -1 point
- Double Bogey or more- - 3 points
1 point will be awarded for each pick completing one round.
End of Tournament Bonuses
- Selected Low Amateur- 5 points
- SelectedTournament Champion- 5 points
- Selected Runner(s)-up - 3 points each
Amateurs will not get any negative points for bogey or worse.
