The 87th edition of The Masters is just around the corner. The first major of the year is set to tee off on Thursday, April 6, at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. One of the biggest events on the golf calendar, The Masters will see the world’s best players compete for the prestigious green jacket.

Ahead of the event, top betters and betting websites have dubbed defending champion Scottie Scheffler, World No. 2 Jon Rahm, and No. 3 Rory McIlroy as favorites to win the event. The original odds listed by many experts changed as the final qualification came into effect after last week’s Valero Texas Open. However, the top names have not changed on the predictions list.

Apart from the world’s top three, players like Cameron Smith, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Will Zalatoris, Collin Morikawa, and Max Homa are expected to have strong outings. Meanwhile, the top betting sites have also listed top-rated LIV Golf players like Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau, and Brooks Koepka to have good odds at the event.

2023 Masters odds (updated)

In the latest highlight, Ryder Cup star Tommy Fleetwood has made the cut in five of his six appearances at Augusta National Golf Club. However, the Englishman comes in with 60-1 odds at the 2023 Masters. According to Caesars Sportsbook, reigning champion Scottie Scheffler remains favorite to lift the trophy at Augusta on Sunday. The American has odds of 13-2.

He was closely followed by Rory McIlroy (15-2) and Jon Rahm (8-1) at the top. It’s pertinent to note that McIlroy will be pushing hard at the event as a win this week will see him complete his grand slam. Smith and Spieth come into the event with 14-1 odds, while Thomas made it to the top-5 with odds of 15-1.

Interestingly, five-time champion Tiger Woods remains on the second half of the list. With odds of 60-1, the legendary golfer is being considered a sleeper pick for the 2023 Masters by many betters.
