Max Homa reacted to YouTuber Nick Stubbe calling him the 'best golfer' he has played with. Stubbe, also known as ‘Fat Perez,’ is part of a YouTube channel named Bob Does Sports. With over 895k subscribers, the channel is renowned for sharing various golf-related challenge videos.
On Wednesday, November 27, in an Instagram questionnaire, Nick Stubbe was asked to name the best golfer he played a round with. In response, the Youtuber picked Homa and posted a video of the American golfer taking a shot, writing:
“Watching Max Homa shoot 60 is pretty wild. Haven't seen a better round and probably won't.”
Later, Homa reshared Stubb's post and expressed gratitude, writing:
“My man.”
Homa's last tournament was the Zozo Championship and he finished at T27 with 8 under 272. His best finish on the PGA Tour in 2024 was at the Masters Tournament, where he landed at T3 with a score of 4 under 284.

Max Homa responds to a fan's remark about him not having won a Major
Besides his golf, Max Homa is also known for his active presence on social media and frequently gives his takes on a range of topics via his X (formerly Twitter) handle. On Friday, November 1, he shared some of the 'benefits' he'd realized after losing his AirPods
“Lost my AirPods a couple weeks ago and haven’t had time to get new ones. I’ve had to workout and practice with no music or podcast to distract me. To my surprise, there’s been a lot of benefits. A thread.”
In reply to this, a fan made a bold remark to 'shut up and win a major event'. This prompted the American golfer to respond with a hilarious remark:
“I’m trying, dog.”
Meanwhile, another fan took to the comments to take a dig at the golfer, writing:
“Trying to win a major or trying to shut up?”
However, the golfer managed to tackle the online troll with grace and end the flurry of to-and-fro comments, writing:
“Actually both.”
Max Homa has had a total of nine wins in his career but the golfer is yet to win a Major event. His best performance in the Majors was a T3 finish at the 2024 Master's Tournament and a T10 at the 2023 Open Championship. Meanwhile, his best finish at the PGA Championship was a T13. His best finish at the US Open was a T47 in 2022, and notably, it was also the only time he had made the cut in five appearances.
