After the ongoing Honda Classic in Florida, the PGA Tour is headed for a double-game week. The Puerto Rico Open will tee off on Thursday, March 2, along with the Arnold Palmer Invitational. While the latter will take place at the Bay Hill Club and Lodge in Orlando, the Puerto Rico Open will once again return to the Grand Reserve Country Club in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Dubbed one of the most fun outings on the PGA Tour schedule, many fans eagerly look forward to the Puerto Rico Open. The event is back and the PGA Tour has already let out the player list for the event’s field. Unsurprisingly, the field features no big names from the American circuit. Incidentally, the Arnold Palmer Invitational, which takes place parallelly, features 44 of the world's top 50 golfers. While the Orlando event is headlined by the likes of world No.1 Jon Rahm, No. 2 Scottie Scheffler, and No.3 Rory McIlroy, the Puerto Rico Open features mostly golfers sitting over the top 100. However, the event still carries some valuable FedEx Cup and OWGR points to its winners.PGA TOUR Communications@PGATOURCommsFields for the two tournaments on the PGA TOUR next week:Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MastercardPuerto Rico Open10415Fields for the two tournaments on the PGA TOUR next week:Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MastercardPuerto Rico Open https://t.co/B0MfVGKDIlThe field for the event has been decided by PGA Tour’s standardized system, which selects players based on the current season’s Priority Ranking and exemptions.
