World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler was recently compared with Jordan Spieth in a recent Golf Digest post. In a post shared on June 7, Golf Digest highlighted stats of Scottie Scheffler's historic dominance. The graphic featured 40 months in which Scheffler not only dominated the PGA Tour but surpassed several elite players' entire career stats.
The caption of the post read:
"Scottie has a pretty good run going."
The post revealed that in just 40 months, Scheffler has clinched more PGA Tour victories than Spieth, a three-time major champion who has been playing on the tour for over a decade. Additionally, the Assuie golfer, who won the 2015 PGA Championship and reached world no. 1, has had a decorated run. Yet, Scheffler posted more top-3 finishes in just over three years than Jason Day has throughout his entire pro career.
Known for his recent years and several PGA Tour titles, Max Homa has earned respect for consistency, but falls short of Scheffler's top-10 count. In addition, despite Dustin Johnson's two majors, the 2016 U.S. Open and 2020 Masters, Scheffler now has more major titles to his name.
Scheffler also holds more PGA Tour earnings than Phil Mickelson. He has surpassed the entire PGA Tour career earnings of Phil Mickelson, a six-time major winner. Scheffler's rapid ascent started after his maiden win at the 2022 WM Phoenix Open. With that, let's look at Scottie Scheffler's earnings for the 2025 season.
