Scottie Scheffler has been on a winning spree since his last four appearances. He won back-to-back at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson and the PGA Championship. After breaking his streak at the Charles Schwab Challenge by finishing in T4, he won the Memorial Tournament, too.
However, as the third Major is almost here, Scheffler took a break and decided to skip the RBC Canadian Open to prepare for the 2025 US Open. And well, the World No. 1 has already arrived at Oakmont to get the US Open week started. Both with his swing and fitness, he is giving it his all.
Dr. Troy Van Biezen, Scottie Scheffler’s performance coach and chiropractor, took to his official Instagram account and shared a few videos of Scottie Scheffler working out in the gym. In the caption, he penned a motivational message for the golfer. He wrote:
“Great Prep week for @usopen 💪👌You’re built for this. Every round, every lift, every stretch has been with one goal in mind: to be ready when it matters most.”
Scottie Scheffler’s performance coach expressed that this was the kind of stage he had trained for, where his strength would set the tone, his speed would shape the tempo, his movement would provide an advantage, and his mindset would be his greatest tool.
The coach emphasized that he didn’t need the noise or the hype, as his consistency and preparation spoke for themselves. He wasn’t out there chasing the moment; instead, he let the moment rise to match the level of his game. He added:
“Keep trusting your prep, keep leaning on the work you’ve done in the dark. From tee to green, you’ve shown the world what elite looks like. Stay patient. Stay sharp. And go let that composure turn pressure into performance. This is your time—play free, play fearless, and let it fly.”
The World No. 1 will look forward to his second Major victory of the season, and well, he has been in exceptional form.
