The 2024 Masters champion was sitting next to him in a white shirt flaunting his Masters jacket. He enjoyed his time there and talked about various things mostly related to College Football.

This was Scottie Scheffler's second appearance on ESPN's College Gameday. He was the guest picker and received the PGA Tour Player of the Year Award at the show in 2022 before the Texas-Alabama match. He got 89% of the votes from his peers and was emotional after receiving the news. Scheffler has come a long way in just two years to become the World's No.1 golfer.

The hosts asked Scottie Scheffler to pick his favorites to win on Saturday. The most notable game that Scheffler was tasked with was Miami vs Louisville. Notably, the Louisville Police arrested the pro golfer after a traffic incident at the 2024 PGA Championship.

"Not to bring anything personal into this with Louisville – great city, great people. But I think Miami is gonna smoke ‘em," Scheffler said.

One of the hosts, Kirk Herbstreit, was the only one on the desk who went with Louisville. Hence, Pat McAfee jokingly questioned if he liked Scheffler's arrest by Louisville police.

"No," Herbstreit said. "I thought that that was unacceptable. I didn’t get the part where they said he dragged the officer down. I didn’t see that."
