Scottie Scheffler is famous not only for his impressive performances on the course but also for the way he conducts himself outside of competition and his treatment of fans. These latter characteristics have caused his popularity to grow significantly in recent months.

On Thursday, April 18, Scottie Scheffler sent a message to all his fans through the social media profiles of one of his key sponsors, TaylorMade. Scheffler thanked the support he received after winning his second green jacket and said:

"Hey Team TaylorMade, it's Scotty here. Just wanted to say thank you all so much for the support last week. I mean, it was a great week, getting to win the Masters for a second time and it was really nice, getting to go home and celebrate with Meredith, and my family, and that was a really special time, and hope you all got to celebrate a good amount too and thank y'all for the support."

Scottie Scheffler is at Hilton Heads to play in the 2024 RBC Heritage, one week after winning the Masters tournament for the second time in just five starts at Augusta National Golf Club.

Scottie Scheffler's performance at the RBC Heritage

Scheffler has played in the RBC Heritage only once. He participated in the tournament in the 2023 season and finished 11th with a score of 12-under 272. Scheffler carded rounds of 68 - 65 - 69 - 70 to finish five strokes behind the champion, Matt Fitzpatrick.

The 2023 RBC Heritage was one of only six tournaments in which Scheffler finished outside the Top 10s last season. In 2022 - 2023, the World No. 1 played 23 events with 17 Top 10s that included two wins and two second-place finishes.

His results in the (unofficial) Hero World Challenge in 2022 and 2023 can be added to the above statistics, in which he finished second and champion respectively.

Scheffler has followed a similar trend in 2024, as in nine tournaments played he has finished in eight Top 10s, with three wins and one second place. His worst result was a T17 at The American Express.
