Mackenzie Hughes shared his thoughts on being a proud Canadian after posting a low score at the 2025 RBC Canadian Open. Hughes is playing at the PGA Tour event this week, and he finished at T6 after posting a total score of 12-under. Hughes had his lowest score in the tournament in the third round with a 64.Following the round, Hughes joined a press conference at the TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley and talked about the Canadian support he received in the home venue. He said (via ASAP Sports):“It's maybe a little inflated, but there was a few today. It's a lot of fun. I'm very proud to be Canadian. It's a great country. I'm very proud to be from here. I can feel that pride out there for us and just for people being Canadian. Yeah, really enjoying it.
