TGL reacts to Happy Gilmore character trolling Tiger Woods' simulator golf outing

The TGL Simulator at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens received a thumbs up from Shoot McGovin of Happy Gilmore. The "golf legend" praised Tiger Woods's simulator edit made on one of his scenes from the cult movie.

The TGL is a tech-infused league founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's TMRW Sports. The first-ever season, featuring 24 players divided into six teams, is set to kick off on January 7.

Recently, Tiger Woods took a swing at the newly built SoFi Center, the TGL's venue. The video went viral on social media, and one fan made an edit, replacing the course view on the TV screen with a scene from Gilmore Girls. Reacting to the scene, Shooter McGavin wrote on X:

"Love the new TGL Simulator, Next level course design."

The official account of the tech-infused league also responded to McGavin's playful dig and replied,

"Appreciate you, Shooter".
