Anthony Kim has shared harsh words on X (formerly Twitter) while responding to a debate on whether transgender women should be allowed to compete in women's sports. He expressed his frustration over the matter and claimed that incoming US President Donald Trump would put an end to this debate.
He shared a picture of his coffee mug and cap, which had MAGA (Make America Great Again) written on it, along with this caption:
"I have stayed away from the men in WOMENS sports topic till @realDonaldTrump WON the election but this has gotta stop. It’s a mental illness for men to wanna compete with women. #Trump2024 #JDVance will shut this nonsense down #girldad #mentalhealth #MAGA."
Anthony Kim was reacting to a post on X from Brigitte Gabriel, who had shared the video of a debate between Republican and Democratic panelists on CNN. One of the CNN panelists was opining that trans women should not be allowed to compete in women's sports, and another panelist interrupted by saying:
"I am NOT going to listen to transphobia at this table!"
Hence, Kim decided to express his views on this sensitive topic and shared them with a "girldad" hashtag. He also extended his support to the newly-elected US President, Donald Trump, on this matter.
Anthony Kim revealed the lessons he learned from Donald Trump
Anthony Kim has been a Donald Trump supporter this election cycle, with his X account filled with tweets supporting the US President-elect. Kim has become one of the most active golfers on social media, especially X, since joining LIV Golf earlier this year.
Before the election, Kim shared videos of his practice sessions and said Trump does multiple appearances and rallies in a day.
"Being consistent with effort & attitude is all you can control. Look at the #election @realDonaldTrump does multiple appearances and rallies a day while #kamalaharris cooks up wordsalads. A few will get upset about the truth but #Trump2024 #girldad #JDVance."
Earlier in September, Anthony Kim shared a post and spoke about why he respects Trump. He said he has spent time with Trump and has experienced who he is when there are no cameras around. Hence, he has immense respect for the 47th President of the United States of America.
"Being a minority in any country isn’t easy. Having spent time with @realDonaldTrump as a Korean-American I have seen and experienced who this man is when no cameras are around & that’s why I have great respect for this man. @livgolf_league #girldad #mentalhealth #gratitude #trump2024."
Anthony Kim made his comeback to pro golf after 12 years earlier this year as he joined the LIV Golf as a wildcard and had a below-average season, finishing 56th in the season-long individual championship.
