Tiger Woods' 9-year-old 'bucket list' fan is invited to Augusta National for the Masters 2023

Tiger Woods' fan met him and is going to the Masters

Tiger Woods is a bit of a folk hero. To many, he's the greatest and most iconic golfer to ever swing a club. That's probably true of Madelyn Quinn, a nine-year-old fan.

Madelyn was born with a heart murmur and received a heart transplant at two years old, something not everyone survives. She posted a bucket list on a poster when she went to the Genesis Invitational with three items on it.

Item number one, which was already marked off as completed, was the heart transplant she received. The second option was to meet Tiger Woods, which she was able to do when Woods' caddie saw her sign in the crowd.

The third option is about to come true, too. She wrote about going to Augusta National to watch The Masters and someone saw the sign and gave Quinn and her family an invite.

A staffer at Augusta caught wind of the viral sign and knew they needed to get the girl and her family to the Masters in 2023.

Quinn's father said via CBS Sports:

"One of the members who heard the story insisted on getting a hold of me to offer tickets. We are pumped!"

In early April, when all the stars who were invited to the tournament are golfing, a little girl will be living her dream thanks to the kindness of a few people who saw her at the Genesis Invitational.

Tiger Woods gave Rory McIlroy advice on driving

Despite being well past his prime and not even a full-time competitor on the PGA Tour, Tiger Woods is always helping improve the game of golf. Recently, he gave advice to Rory McIlroy- who was recently usurped as the World No.1.

McIlroy spoke with the living legend, according to Golf.com, and stated:

“I’m so particular about face angle when it comes to drivers that when I went up a click in loft, obviously I can see a little more face, it looks a little further left to me. And I didn’t hit one drive out of the middle of the face the first day at Riv. So I needed to go and try something else. I was sick of Tiger outdriving me. Partly to do with that.”

McIlroy also added:

“I feel like this Stealth 2 head for me … is more neutral or what I perceive to be a more neutral face angle. I think if other people saw it they would probably see that it sits slightly open, but to my eye it sits square. To me it was all about face angle.”

McIlroy doesn't need to get advice from many people. Despite falling to third overall on the OWGR leaderboard, he's in some of the best form he's ever been in.

Nevertheless, the star golfer can still learn from people. Additionally, it proves that while his talent may have waned, Tiger Woods is still the go-to guy for many stars on the PGA Tour today.
