Reacting to the post, Stakes shared his opinion about golf balls:

"If you aren’t a competitive golfer, are we almost getting to the point where it is vanity not to play the @Costco golf ball? For the bulk of golfers out there, do they hit it consistently to see a difference other than the logo?"

On Monday, June 9, a golf fan page @UsedGolfFacts shared posts on its X account about the impressive stats of the LIV Golfers in the Major. The post read:

"A couple of US Open facts to start the week with: - 6 of the last 9 US Opens have been won by LIV Golfers. - 3 of the top 5 golfers in the DataGolf world rankings are LIV golfers. But LIV Golf is dead in the water, right?"

This year's US Open will feature 14 LIV golfers. Last year, Bryson DeChambeau was pretty impressive with his game and won the Major by one stroke.

The tournament was last held at Oakmont in 2016, and Dustin Johnson, the captain of LIV Golf's 4 Aces GC, won it. In the last nine editions, six of the winners are from LIV Golf.

This includes Johnson winning in 2016, and then Brooks Koepka clinched the title for two back-to-back years in 2017 and 2018. Intriguingly, Koepka was in contention for one hat-trick, but in 2019 he settled in second place.

Bryson DeChambeau won the Major in 2020, and then Jon Rahm won it in 2021. Last year, DeChambeau clinched the title again. The 2025 US Open will take place from June 12 to 15.
