Tiger Woods is likely to return to the golf course at the PNC Championship, partnering with his son Charlie. While he was expected to make a comeback at the Hero World Challenge, Woods has recently confirmed his withdrawal from the tournament.

As reported by Golf Digest, the 15-time Major winner will be using a cart to play in the father-son duo challenge.

However, he has yet to make an official announcement regarding his participation the event. Notably, the 2024 PNC Championship will take place from December 21 to 22 at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club.

Last month, Woods announced 17 of the 20 players who would compete in the Hero World Challenge, leading to speculation about his potential participation. However, he recently revealed the final three players for the event on X, which will be held from December 5 to 8 in Albany. He also confirmed that he would not be playing.

"I am disappointed that I will not be able to compete this year at the Hero World Challenge, but always look forward to being tournament host and spending the week with @HeroMotoCorp. Excited to welcome our exemptions @JustinThomas34 @JDayGolf and @NickDunlap62 into the field," he wrote on X.
