When Tiger Woods is back on the course, he undoubtedly comes up with his own form of trash talk. The 15-time Major champion returns to compete at this week's Genesis Invitational Open.
He started the first round alongside his friend Justin Thomas, taking the lead over him after hitting a 2-under 69.
After outdriving Thomas on the ninth hole in the inaugural round, Tiger Woods slipped a tampon into his hand.
Tiger Woods and Justin Thomas are best friends and they enjoy teasing each other on and off the golf course.
In December, when the two competed at the 2022 PNC Championship, Thomas never missed an opportunity to take a jab at Tiger Woods.
He even posted a video making fun of Woods and Rory McIlroy after defeating them at The Match earlier that month.
At the 2023 Genesis Invitational, Tiger Woods was paired to tee off with Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas. Despite struggling with his injuries, Woods surprised everyone with his performance and later mimicked Justin Thomas after hitting the shot.
McIlroy also didn't sound pleased on Thursday after struggling to take on Tiger Woods. Speaking in an interview, the Northern Irish golfer said:
“I’m going to go work on the range. I put my driver up a click in loft at the start of the week, I might have to turn it back down again. I don’t like him hitting it by me.”
After the first round, Max Homa took the lead alongside Mitchell, while Justin Thomas finished at T14 with a scoring deficit of three, and Tiger Woods settled for T27.
