Tyrrell Hatton teams up with father Jeff Hatton for DP World Tour's Alfred Dunhill Links Championship

Tyrrell Hatton is set to play the DP World Tour's Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. He will compete at this year's event alongside his dad Jeff Hatton.

A couple of weeks ago, Tyrrell Hatton competed at the British Masters and tied for 18th. This was his first start on the DP World Tour in months, and now he is set for his next start soon.

On Saturday, September 7, Alfred Dunhill Links Championship's official X account confirmed Hatton's participation.

"Keeping it in the family…..Tyrrell Hatton and his dad Jeff will be playing together at St Andrews next month in the #dunhilllinks Team Championship," the post read.

Besides Hatton, Billy Horschel, Robert MacIntyre, Rory McIlroy, and Matt Fitzpatrick have also confirmed their participation at this year's championship.

The 2024 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship is set to take place from October 3 to 6 at Old Course in Scotland, UK.

What's next for Tyrrell Hatton?

Tyrrell Hatton will next compete at LIV Golf Chicago, which will be played at Bolingbrook Golf Club from September 13 to 15. This will be the thirteenth event on LIV Golf's schedule.

Hatton has had an incredible first season on the Saudi-backed circuit, registering a win and five other top-ten finishes. He is currently third in the season standings. Additionally, his team, Legion XIII, is leading the team portion. He will be in action again two weeks later at the Team Championship at Maridoe Golf Club in Dallas.

In major championships, Hatton finished T9 at the Masters Tournament but missed the cut at The Open Championship. Before joining LIV, he made two starts on the PGA Tour this year, with a T13 finish at the Sony Open in Hawaii being his best result.
