Underwear company bails out the streaker who caused havoc at the WM Phoenix Open

The WM Phoenix Open last week went wild as it saw a streaker trespassing on the 16th hole. He then did a bit of dancing on the famous Par-3 16's flagstick, eventually rushing to the tunnel to the 17th hole, where he dove into the pond left of the green.

A person named Sean Patrick McConnell went viral online as his videos surfaced everywhere on social media. He started from the 16th hole of TPC Scottsdale to the 18th hole in only a pair of underwear. The underwear had '19th hole' written on the back.

Scottsdale police charged him with trespassing, disorderly conduct, and non-compliance with a lawful order given by law enforcement.

The video gained so much attention that it came to the notice of the underwear brand Shinesty, the brand McConnell was wearing that day. Shinesty is an underwear brand founded in 2014 by Chris White and Jens Nicolaysen.

The company's CEO Chris White bailed him out as a gesture and also supported him with administrative court expenses.

"We have to accept partial responsibility for this incident and at least cover the bail. We've never seen a streaker so incredibly aerodynamic, elusive, and sexually compelling during a jaunt around the links," said White.

As per McConnell, he just wanted to make people happy.

“After all, it is nicknamed 'The People's Open,' so I wanted to make sure the people had something fun to remember," said McConnell after getting released.

Stewart Cink was going to tee off at the 16th hole when he heard the crowd getting louder, which confused him. Cink himself did something different the day before Mac Savage's antics when he sported a No. 35 Phoenix Suns jersey with "DURANT" written on it. Last week, it was announced that Durant would be traded by the Suns, and Cink celebrated it in style at TPC Scottsdale.
