WATCH: Agitated Brooks Koepka throws golf club into water

Brooks Koepka is one of the best golfers of modern times and has won five majors so far. However, sometimes even golfers of his caliber can make errors.

Recently, Barstool Sports' popular podcast channel Pardon My Take shot an episode featuring Brooks Koepka, where they played a 9-hole 3-man scramble round of golf at Boiling Brook Golf Club, Illinois. Koepka hit a poor shot and then threw his club into a hazard out of frustration.

On Friday, October 4, the official Instagram handle of Pardon My Take shared the video of the incident. Here's the clip:

However, Brooks Koepka easily won the match, securing a 1-up victory over Team Pardon My Take. The full episode is available on their YouTube channel and has garnered 40,000 views so far.

Is Brooks Koepka playing this week?

Brooks Koepka is playing in the DP World Tour's Alfred Dunhill Links Championship this week. He had a slow start, shooting 1-under 71 on Thursday, October 3, placing him in the bottom half of the leaderboard after the first round. However, in the second round, Koepka made a massive leap, jumping 98 spots by firing an 8-under 64.

After two rounds, Koepka is tied for 22nd at 8-under, six shots behind the leaders. Nicolas Colsaerts and Cameron John lead at 14-under, with a one-shot edge over Darren Fichardt and David Law after 36 holes.

On the LIV Golf circuit, Koepka had another strong season, winning two titles and becoming the winningest player on the Saudi-backed tour. He also made three other top-10 finishes and secured fifth place in the season standings. His team, Smash GC, won two titles and made three other podium finishes this year.

In major championships, however, Koepka did not have the best year. He tied for 26th at both the PGA Championship and the US Open and failed to make the top 20 in any of the four major championships.
