Daniel Hillier recently recreated his impressive putter flip ahead of the 2024-25 Australian Open. The New Zealand player showed his putter flip at the Australian PGA Championship where he tossed his putter into the air and let it rotate and caught it effortlessly.In the video posted by DP World Tour's official page on X, the 26-year-old can be seen performing the putter flip. Hillier, dressed in a light pink collared golf shirt, black shorts, said (via DP World Tour):"Hello everyone, yeah you may or may not have seen my little episode last week at the PGA, my little putter flip. Oh that's a nice trick. Yeah it's a bit of a spur of the moment thing but I'm here, I'm going to try and do it first pop. Hopefully I don't make a fool of myself."Daniel Hillier then tossed the putter into the air, watched it rotate mid-air and then caught it smoothly by the grip. After performing the stunt against the backdrop of tournament banners and lush greens, he said:"There we go, still got it. Wasn't a fluke."He will next compete at the 2024 ISPS Handa Australian Open.
