WATCH: Emiliano Grillo smashes his club in anger after bunker disaster at 2024 Paris Olympics

With a few holes of the second round of the 2024 Paris Olympics golf event still left to be played, Emiliano Grillo sits in 35th place. The Argentinian golfer is tied with six other players who sit at one under par.

On Le Golf National's par-4 tenth hole, the 31-year-old's second shot found the left greenside bunker. Faced with a thirty yard shot, Grillo placed his bunker shot 26 feet ahead of the pin.

Having been five under par through nine holes of the second round, the Argentinian was frustrated with the result and took his anger out by smashing his club into the sand trap. Watch Grillo smash his club at Le Golf National's tenth hole during the second round of the 2024 Paris Olympics below:

Grillo went on to miss the 26-foot putt for par and holed a four-foot and two inches putt to card in a bogey on the 375-yard long hole. Having made a birdie on the hole during the first round, the Olympian was frustrated and went on to bogey the 12th, 13th, and 14th hole today before catching a break with a birdie on the par four 15th hole.
