Bryson DeChambeau and other LIV Golf players are set to compete in the LIV Golf Team Championship in Dallas, Texas. The LIV Golf Team Championship is the final event of the season, with the individual championship concluding last week in Chicago.
As the golfers prepared for the final team championship at the Maridoe Golf Club, they recently took a big oversized driver challenge. The oversized driver was taller than some golfers, with LIV Golf calling it a Texas-sized driver on X (formerly Twitter). Watch the video below:
The yardage of the shot was not revealed as only a few golfers like Bryson DeChambeau and Cameron Smith managed to get a good strike while other golfers struggled to make reasonable contact with the ball.
Where did Bryson DeChambeau finish in the 2024 LIV Golf individual championship?
Bryson DeChambeau had a mixed performance in the 2024 LIV Golf individual championship as he finished 8th in the season-long standings. DeChambeau registered his second Major championship win this year but didn't manage a victory on LIV Golf.
His best finish of the season came at Nashville, where he finished 3rd in the event. Overall, DeChambeau has managed to register seven top-10 finishes and was the top-ranked Crushers GC golfer.
Going into the Team Championship, DeChambeau-led Crushers GC is leading the standings and is the favorite to defend the team championship title.

DeChambeau said after the LIV Golf individual championship (via ASAP Sports):
"I'm looking forward to the challenge of the golf course. It's going to provide a different dynamic than Miami and I think it suits our games really well. It's why I wanted it there, and it's now in a place where I think all of our games are good."
"I personally need to tidy a couple things up. I would have given myself a great chance this week and just didn't do that. I know the team is right there, as well, so winning without our best stuff just shows we've got a lot more to go," the 2024 US Open Champion said.
Talking about the strategy for the team championship, DeChambeau said it was just about getting everyone ready and prepared for the team championship.
"Match play, 18 holes of golf, anything can happen. Really our strategy is to get everyone prepared and ready next week and get them playing the best golf they possibly can come Saturday," DeChambeau said.
Jon Rahm won the 2024 LIV Golf individual championship as he finished the season on top with two wins and all top-10 finishes. He won the LIV Golf Chicago event last week while his competitor for the individual championship, Joaquin Niemann, finished runner-up.
