WATCH: Max Homa chips-in for Eagle at the 2025 Farmers Insurance Open

Max Homa is currently at the Torrey Pines Golf Club to compete in the PGA Tour's 2025 Farmers Insurance Open. This tournament is Homa's second tournament of the season, and after finishing T26 at The Sentry, he will look to make an impression in the Farmers Insurance Open.

However, Round 1 of this tournament did not go as planned for the American as he shot a triple bogey on the first hole. Things further took a turn for the worse as Homa proceeded to score a bogey and double bogey on the fourth and fifth holes, respectively. But, he quickly recovered with a chip-in eagle on hole 6.

On social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the PGA Tour shared a video of the same and wrote:

"Bogey ➡️ double bogey ➡️ chip-in eagle. Golf."

While Max Homa's recovery with an eagle on the sixth hole was worth watching, he once again suffered a dip as he scored a bogey on the eighth hole. He ended his round with a score of five-over.
