Min Woo Lee missed a hole-in-one at the ISPS Handa Australian Open on Friday, November 29. The second DP World Tour tournament of the 2024-25 season is being held at the Kingston Heath Golf Club and Victoria Golf Club.

In the seventh hole of the second round on the front nine, the Aussie made an error-free connection. However, his ball missed the hole by just a few inches. Golf Australia and the Australian Open shared the clip of the moment on their Instagram. They captioned the post:

"@minwoo27lee is starting to cook 👀 Just inches away from an ace on the 7th! #AusOpenGolf (star-struck emoji)"

Lee scored a birdie on the hole. The video of his missed hole-in-one can be watched below:

Min Woo Lee scored 1-under 71 in the first round of the tournament, making three birdies on the front nine. However, he also faltered with two bogeys on the back nine. In the second round, he finished with a score of 2-under 70.

After two rounds, he had an aggregate score of 3-under 140. At the time of the writing, with a few players to complete their round, he is tied for 38th position with the likes of Josh Armsford and Jamie Rutherford.

Last year, Lee finished third at the ISPS Handa Australian Open. He'll look to improve his performances in the latter two rounds for a decent finish at the tournament.

Currently, Lucas Herbert is on the top of the leaderboard at the Australian Open. He has an aggregate score of 14-under 129. The winner of the tournament will take home $289,000.
