Fans on social media have mocked Bryson DeChambeau for comparing his incredible eagle during the 2024 PGA Championship's third round to his round of 58 at the 2023 LIV Golf Greenbrier event. The fan comments come amidst DeChambeau's solid showing so far at the Valhalla Golf Course.

During the third round on Saturday, May 18, he shot an eagle on the par-5 18th hole, placing him in a tie for fourth on the leaderboard. Later on the same day, he opened up about his game while speaking with the media. DeChambeau compared his eagle at the PGA Championship to his fabulous round of 58 at the LIV Golf Greenbrier event.

Nuclr Golf shared DeChambeau's comment on its X (formerly Twitter) account with the caption saying:

Bryson DeChambeau began his 2024 PGA Championship campaign on Thursday, May 16, with a stellar round of 68. Starting at the 10th hole, he opened with a bogey on the 12th, followed by a birdie on the 15th. He then eagled the seventh and added another birdie on the eighth, finishing the day with a 3-under 68.

In the second round, DeChambeau impressively carded three consecutive birdies from the third to the fifth hole and adding another birdie on the eighth. He shot three birdies and a bogey on the back nine, finishing with a remarkable 6-under 65.

For the third round, DeChambeau commenced with a birdie on the first hole. He then recorded two birdies, a bogey on the front nine and an eagle on the back nine, ultimately scoring 4-under 67 to settle at under-13. This tied him for fourth place with Shane Lowry and Viktor Hovland.

Following the completion of the three rounds of the 2024 PGA Championship, Xander Schauffele and Collin Morikawa led the leaderboard with scores of under 15. Sahith Theegala is alone in third place, a stroke behind the leaders.

The tournament will conclude on Sunday, May 19, with Bryson DeChambeau teeing off alongside Hovland on the first tee at 2:25 p.m. ET.
