During the third round on Saturday, May 18, he shot an eagle on the par-5 18th hole, placing him in a tie for fourth on the leaderboard. Later on the same day, he opened up about his game while speaking with the media. DeChambeau compared his eagle at the PGA Championship to his fabulous round of 58 at the LIV Golf Greenbrier event.
Nuclr Golf shared DeChambeau's comment on its X (formerly Twitter) account with the caption saying:
"Bryson DeChambeau on his Eagle at 18: 'Exhilarating. I haven't felt like that in a long time. The only other time I felt like it was when I shot 58 at Greenbrier. That was pretty exciting there. I was pretty pumped.'"
