What to wear at The Open Championship 2024? Dress code and other details

The fourth Major of the year, the Open Championship 2024 will begin in less than 24 hours. As the anticipation for the final Major of the 2024 season increases, fans and spectators are curious about what to wear at the event. The Open Championship's official website states:

"There is no dress code in public areas. Clothing and footwear suitable for the weather conditions should be worn."

The 152nd edition of the Open Championship will run from Thursday, July 18, to Sunday, July 21, at the Royal Troon Golf Club in Troon, South Ayrshire, Scotland. Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, and Rory Mcllroy are favorites to win the tournament.

Still photography that doesn't interrupt play is allowed but video recording is not permitted. Further, the photography shouldn't be used for commercial purposes. Nikon binoculars will be rented throughout the tournament with a charge of £10-20.

All spectators can leave and re-enter the venue on the same day at the Open Championship, provided they leave with a wristband and show it when re-entering, along with the digital ticket on The Open Tickets App.
