When will Xander Schauffele tee off round 1 at the 2024 Valspar Championship? Tee time and pairing explored

Xander Schauffele will tee off Round 1 of the 2024 Valspar Championship on Thursday at 1:23 am ET.

The 30-year-old will join defending champion Taylor Moore and fan-favorite Brian Harman on the first tee at Innisbrook Resort's Copperhead Course in Palm Harbor. The World No.5 golfer will follow the grouping of Peter Malnati, Doug Ghim and Min Woo Lee.

Schauffele is the highest-ranked player on the Valspar Championship field. Unsurprisingly, he's also the favorite to win the PGA Tour event. According to SportsLine, the 7x Tour winner comes into the Florida weekend with +800 odds.

Coming off a T2 finish at The Players Championship last week, Schauffele will be eyeing a win.

It's pertinent to note that the 2019 Masters champion will be one of 18 top 50 OWGR-ranked players on the field this weekend.

Schauffele will go up against the likes of Sam Burns (+1100), Justin Thomas (+1200), Jordan Spieth (+1200) and Tony Finau (+2200), among others on Thursday.

With a stacked field in the picture, it will be interesting to see how the golfer fares at the Valspar Championship.
